Dear Force Elementary Community:
We want to wish you all a peaceful and safe winter break as we end 2020. This has been an unprecedented year for all of us and we are looking forward to 2021. Here is an overview of what to expect for the second semester.
- School will be on Winter Break from December 21st – January 4th.
- Students will continue online learning from January 5th – 8th.
- Students that chose in-person learning will return to school on January 11th. In-person learning begins at 8:00 and we dismiss at 2:30.
Students attending in-person will follow the same protocols that we had in place before the transition to online learning. All students will enter the school building using the same door assignments. We will continue to screen students as they enter.
As a reminder, we strongly urge our community to take these essential health precautions:
- Stay home when you are sick, and keep your children at home when they are sick.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
** Please contact the school when your child is too sick to come to school and if anyone in the family tested positive for the COVID 19 virus. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Our office is staffed during remote learning. 720-424-7400.
Happy Holidays,
Val & Lorenza
