Dear Force Families, August 3, 2026

We would like to welcome you back to Force Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year.  We hope everyone had a relaxing summer with quality family time.  We are looking forward to another wonderful school year where we create a strong love for learning, a fun and safe environment for all students to thrive, and a caring community that puts all students first.  Our hope is that we can continue to work together to make that happen.

The first day back for students in grades Kinder - 5th will be August 24, 2026.  Students in ECE will begin August 25, 2026.  The school day is from 8:05-3:05 pm except on Wednesdays.  Wednesday school hours are from 8:05-1:00.

As the school year approaches there is important information and dates to keep in mind.  You can read this information below:

  • Back to School Night & our first PAC meeting will be on August 20th, 2026 from 3:00 - 5:00.  Teachers will be explaining their classroom expectations and day-to-day procedures.  The PAC team will be supporting and explaining the TNLI model and language support for your student.

  • Breakfast is free for all students and starts at 8:05 am in the classroom.  Please make sure students are at their located door when the bell rings.  If a student arrives late, they should enter through the main door.  The tardy bell is at 8:15 am.

  • Force dismissal will be at 3:05 pm and 1:00 pm on Wednesdays from the school’s playground.  Please meet your child outside.  In order to maximize end-of-day classroom instruction, please do not check students out before 3:05 pm.  We discourage this because it is disruptive to instruction.

  • We are excited that this year we are offering an after-school program that will be available to your student(s) starting in August 2026!  The program will be available as an option for all Force K-5th grade students. The extended day program will operate daily from school dismissal until 5:30 pm.  If you are interested in having your child participate, please enroll as soon as possible as spaces are limited to 40 students.

We will continue to send out reminders in the monthly school newsletter throughout the school year.  Please remember that we are here to serve you and your child(ren).  We are always available and look forward to building a strong relationship with all Force Families.

Thank you for sending your child to Force and I am looking forward to providing your child with an excellent educational experience.

Warmly,

Mr. Hazael Roman-Lagunas  & Lorenza Lara
