We hope you are all well and safe and have some fun planned for this weekend! Please see important updates and reminders below:
Reminders:
Return to School Hours: 8:15am-2:30pm
Kindergarten and First Grade students return to school October 5th and 6th! Students with a last names beginning with A-L come on Monday, October 5th and student with their last name beginning with M-L will come on October 6th. All students will come on October 7th.
Students in grades 2nd– 5th will return on October 21st! Virtual learners will stay online. Your child may have a change in their teacher due to the need of providing online and in-person classes. Teachers will be communicating with you regarding any changes.
Logistical information: All Kindergarten students will enter and leave school through the front doors of the school. First graders will enter from the playground using the door next to the gym. Each child will have their temperature checked before entering the building; a temperature at 100.4 or above degrees will require the child go home. If your child is not feeling well or exhibits any symptoms of illness, please keep them home for the day. Students are all in cohorts (groups) of 35 or less. We are not mixing cohorts. As you know; the safety and health of our students and staff is our number one priority.
We have missed our students and are looking forward to seeing their smiling faces! We know they will be smiling behind their masks!

We are excited to share that DPS is hosting several community meetings for our SW Families on Monday and Tuesday. Dr. Sonja O’Leary, Dr. Rusha Lev, and Dr. Bill Burman (Denver Health), will be joining us to share COVID 19 information and to answer questions that parents may have regarding COVID 19.
