Please know we are working hard to get messages out to all families.  We are using School Messenger and pulling family information directly from Infinite Campus, the district system, for emails, text messages and automated voice messages.  If your information has changed or you are not sure it is correct, please email:
Juanita_Horonzy@dpsk12.org

If you are not receiving class/grade level information, please email your teacher directly:

DPS Chromebooks
If you borrowed a laptop from Force, here is login information, the device agreement, and essential information for parents.

SeeSaw Learning Platform
We will be using the SeeSaw application for grades K-5th as our online learning platform.  It is very kid friendly and easy to use once it is up and running.    Here is short video about logging in and here is a document explaining the steps.

How can you help your child now to prepare for Remote Learning?
Start to talk to your child about returning to school and how it will look this year.  Be positive and supportive and share what you know for certain for the beginning of the school year.  Your teachers and friends are excited to see you (even in a remote setting)!

Tips to prepare your child for online learning at home:

  • Create a learning space for your child.
  • Make a schedule and stick to it.
  • Reduce distractions.
  • Resist the urge to sit in on classes with your child.  This is their learning time.
  • Use a calendar and color-code it.
  • Get plenty of exercise, plan in snack times.
  • Allow your child to interact with friends via video chats.

Coffee with the Principal
On Friday, August 28th we will be hosting a virtual Coffee with the Principal/AP from 10:00-11:00am.  All families are welcome:
