We have seen an increase of student smartwatches and phones over the past few months. Our school policy is that smartwatches and phones need to be turned off during the school day, including lunch and recess time. Phones need to be in backpacks and not in student desks. If a student has their watch or phone on and is interacting with it, we will give the student one warning. If it happens again we will hold the watch/phone until a parent can come and get it. We highly recommend not sending smartwatches and phones to school with students, as they can get lost or stolen. If there is an emergency and you need to reach your child during the school day, please call the school office at 720-424-7401
Hemos notado un aumento de estudiantes trayendo a la escuela teléfonos y relojes inteligentes en los últimos meses. Nuestra política es que los relojes inteligentes y los teléfonos deben estar apagados durante el día escolar, incluidos el almuerzo y el recreo. Los teléfonos deben permanecer en las mochilas y no en los escritorios de los estudiantes. Si un estudiante tiene su reloj o teléfono encendido y está interactuando con él, le daremos una advertencia.
